Founded in 2025, the Friends of the St. Louis County Animal Shelter Foundation was created to provide critical animal shelter support to the animals in the St. Louis County animal care system. This animal welfare organization was established to fill funding gaps, respond to urgent larger needs, and enhance the care, protection, and outcomes for animals in the county shelter system.
